Trans-Humanities is a journal published by Ewha Institute for the Humanities, which is carrying out the Humanities Korea project under the agenda of “constructing and spreading cross-boundary humanities” with support from the Korea Research Foundation. The journal was launched in August 2008, and the title has been changed into Trans-Humanities in 2009. The journal aims to be a platform for communication between humanities and other neighboring disciplines, academic and everyday life, and humanities researches in Korea and the rest of the world. In addition, it will contribute to creating a new “cross-boundary discourse” that transcends institutional, cultural, regional, and disciplinary barriers by exchanging ideas and interacting with cross-boundary and creative researches.

Trans-Humanities will be published twice a year (February 28, August 31). This journal is targeting the readers from all over the world, and accepts manuscripts all year round. Manuscripts must be submitted no later than December 30th for February issue, June 30th for August issue.
